Savannah loves reading and stories, and most of our night (outside of dinner and baths) is spent reading books and telling her stories. I am amazed at her memory! Chris and I will sometimes pause while reading her books to let her fill in the blanks and it stuns me how much she's able to remember! Just a constant reminder that they're always listening and learning! So glad she's enjoying books!
The swing set is as big a hit as ever - that has been a wonderful investment!
We had another tree fall in the back yard and it took out the fence:( Luckily our post-hole digger (aka Chris) didn't dig the holes too deep and it just kind of laid down with the tree - a blessing in disguise! We were able to rebuild in in a few hours time.
Merrick had his ear tube surgery this month and it went great! He was all smiles just as soon as it was done, no stress at all! We can already tell it's made him feel better and recover faster.
Goofy boy:)
Savannah got all dressed up for Chick-fil-a's Daddy Daughter Date Night with Daddy. She looked adorable (so did Daddy!) but quickly decided she didn't want to go after all - so we all ate together at home instead.
The weather has been quite chilly, so we take the occasional walk, but not nearly as much time outside as I'd like! I'm looking forward to warmer weather!!
Oh! The kids both got glasses:) Don't they look great?
We turned our extra closet into a proper pantry - I'm loving this!
We took the kids to visit the aquarium. Savannah got to see Nemo, Marlin and Dory. She had a great time. I think her favorite part ended up being the dolphin show, which was a lot of fun! We had a great time there!
We did a little painting:)
And took the kids for a trip to Catch Air - they both loved it! Who are those two angry men in the background? Hehe:)
So that's about it! The past month in a nutshell! We've been having a great (albeit exhausted mostly) time with the kids and can't wait to see what other new things they learn and get into!!
